Leadership conversations from the coast

This week we took ourselves of to BECBC Energy Networx.

We went to talk about leadership and the business model canvas.  Thomas Jardine was one of the showcases. Our Jacqui Jackson alongside Peter Fleming and Connor Fish were presenting the Business Model Canvas on behalf of the Professional Services Group.  We were there to promote our new Leadership Program, Lego Serious Play and using the Business Model Canvas.

Key leadership takeaways (not what you would expect)

At these events it’s not the scripted moments that count.  It’s what you hear when you really listen.  Ours leadership conversations were:

• Change happens when you least expect it: beware of the rabbit toy
• Find space to reflect: the drive home
• No such thing as a sure thing: even big customers can disappear , be prepared to pivot
• Its a small world: meeting neighbors of long standing…
• AI is here: but not all AI is the same

• Innovators are quietly getting on with it: some great innovation is happening here in Cumbria and it is reaching across the UK and the globe
• The room is on your side: despite any glitches in tech a good facilitator can keep the room on the speakers side
• Find new ways to look at old problems: Lego serious paly and leadership works
